| Requirements: | Fabric for class: Prints - 3 1/3 yards or 1 Jelly Roll + ½ yard of a coordinating solid. Background: 1 Jelly Roll* or 36 strips – 2 ½” x 42”. BEFORE COMING TO CLASS PLEASE PRE-CUT the following: (9) 2 ½” x WOF strips. - Set these aside to pair with Print A Jelly Roll strips. • (5) 2 ½” x WOF strips. - Cut strips in half to make (10) 2 ½” x 21” strips. - Set aside (9) of these to pair with Print C Jelly Roll strips. - Subcut the remaining half-strip into (8) 2 ½” squares. • (4) 2 ½” x WOF strips. - Subcut into (64) 2 ½” squares. • (5) 2 ½” x WOF strips. - Subcut into (36) 2 ½” x 4 ½” rectangles. • (9) 2 ½” x WOF strips. - Subcut into (36) 2 ½” x 8 ½” rectangles. • (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. - Subcut into (6) 2 ½” x 18 ½” rectangles. • (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. - Set these aside for row sashings. Sort Your Main Jelly Roll: Sort strips into (9) groups of four. Each group will have a Print A, Print B, Print C, and Print D. A sewing machine in good working order, power cord and pedal, ruler, rotary cutter, cutting mat, snips, neutral thread |
