FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Outer Bag – 192 outer 2 ½” squares; can be made from 12-2 ½” strips (at least 40” wide)
(These 2 ½” squares can be made from charm squares, you would need 48-5 ½” charm squares cut in half twice or you could just use whatever scraps you have on hand)
Handles – 4-2 ½” strips
Lining – 1 ¼ yard
Fusible Fleece – 1 ¼ yard
SUPPLIES:
Sewing machine in good working order and its accessories
Rotary cutter and mat
Thread, bobbins, scissors, pins, seam ripper, clips
Your other favorite sewing notions
Your own iron and pressing mat (not absolutely necessary but will be helpful), Applique pressing sheet or pressing cloth
Fasturn #6 for turning handles or bodkin or large safety pin
OPTIONAL – 1 or 2 D-rings
HOMEWORK:
You will want to have all of your 2 ½” squares cut prior to class. Not required but helpful.
